Why do surveys ask the same question repeatedly?

We know it can be frustrating when you have to answer the same question repeatedly, but it is sometimes a way that companies ensure panelists are carefully reading each question and being honest in their answers. If you receive the same question twice, please be sure you respond with the same answer or you might get disqualified from the survey.
